Recently we made a post detailing how Crunchyroll is on the verge of collapse. In that article we noted that we conducted an interview with an individual, Bill, who seemed open to the thought that Crunchyroll is about to go bankrupt. Below is the full transcript of that interview:
Q: Just for general recordkeeping, could you confirm your name for me?
A: Sure, It's Bill. But please leave it anonymous when you put the interview online.
Of course, Bill. We won't let anyone know your name is Bill. So Bill, how do you feel about the Crunchyroll attempting to bankrupt all of their users with their vicious $2 fee increase?
Well, I can't say I like prices going up, but I'm not sure bankrupt is the word I would use.
So how then can anyone afford Crunchyroll now that the prices are going up two whole dollars each month?
That’s like, what, the cost of a loaf of bread? I think I can manage.
So you’re saying that you’re willing to forgo eating even basic foods to support the evil and disgusting Crunchyroll?
No, it’s just not a lot of money even by the standards of a broke college student like myself.
Have you considered that you’re really being ripped off and just don’t realize it because you’ve been indoctrinated to support self-destructive SJW cuck DEI communism?
The SJW cuck DE-what? I’m sorry, but I only know English. Can you repeat the question in English?
Do you feel like a shit knowing that myself and millions of other people pirate our anime for free while you give CrunchyWOKE your hard earned cash each month?
I certainly don't feel as shitty as your website looks. It looks like Microsoft Paint is your only sponsor.
Crunchyroll tries to avoid union labor and is looking to bring in AI dubbing. Do you feel at all ashamed for using it? Oh I can see your world crumbling before your eyes!
Dude I wouldn't be able to watch paint dry if I avoided every single company that wanted to use AI and destroy unions.
There isn't any evidence to suggest money earned by Crunchyroll goes to the animators. Doesn't that feel wrong to you?
Sure, but you can say the exact same thing about the Japanese companies involved in the animation production costs. They fund anime more than Crunchyroll, yet the animators are still poor.
Crunchyroll illegally fired Vic Mignogna several years ago after he was accused of sexual harassing others? As a fellow white man, how can you defend that, Bill?
Oh, he's a sexual harasser? I guess I'll start avoiding any shows he appears in - thanks for the heads up! Say, what happened to the discussion on Crunchyroll's price hikes?
What are your thoughts on the evidence-based rumors that Crunchyroll is being bankrolled by Western elites specifically to destroy both Japan and the last bastion of true freedom in a world becoming consumed by woke ESG tourism and that Crunchyroll's overplayed hand with the price hikes are going to actually save the world from world wide wokeness?
Umm, do you have any friends?
