Recently we made a post detailing how Crunchyroll is on the verge of collapse. In that article we noted that we conducted an interview with an individual, Bill, who seemed open to the thought that Crunchyroll is about to go bankrupt. Below is the full transcript of that interview:

Well, I can't say I like prices going up, but I'm not sure bankrupt is the word I would use.

So how then can anyone afford Crunchyroll now that the prices are going up two whole dollars each month?

There isn't any evidence to suggest money earned by Crunchyroll goes to the animators. Doesn't that feel wrong to you?

Sure, but you can say the exact same thing about the Japanese companies involved in the animation production costs. They fund anime more than Crunchyroll, yet the animators are still poor.

Crunchyroll illegally fired Vic Mignogna several years ago after he was accused of sexual harassing others? As a fellow white man, how can you defend that, Bill?
