“It's All Downhill From Here,” Says Anime Freedom’s Founder

Minneapolis, Minnesota– Rolling down the red carpet at Guthrie Theater, Anime Freedom founder Griff McGrift confirmed their belief that the website’s first day up is likely going to be it’s high point. “Know editors, no qualified journalists, and no secretaries to bang,” chimed McGrift, “I'm confident we've got no chance of making it to the end of the month.” McGrfit founded Anime Freedom after being ousted from his own nutritional supplements company due to sexual harassment complaints by several female colleagues. Anime Freedom’s pre-release was also mired in controversy, as multiple website designers & developers claimed to have been stiffened paid owed to them by McGrift. McGrift claimed that he wouldn’t pay anyone woke a ‘single penny,’ and that the developers just didn’t see his vision for a news site that wouldn't push his self-described 'apolitical' agenda. According to McGrift, Anime Freedom was created to expose the hidden truths that the mainstream media was covering up, such as how women destroying society, immigrants are destroying society, or how trans people are destroying society. “Everything wrong in this world is the fault of everyone other than straight, white men, but the media won’t admit it,” stated McGrift, “We need to to inflict some pain onto everyone because that’s what nice guys like myself do.”
