After a tumultuous two weeks, professional darts players from around the globe took a toast celebrating what they expect to be a turn around in their fortunes. "Yeah, I think it's obvious to everyone here that darts was about to be the next big thing until the Olympics showed up," said accountant and part-time professional darts player Leeroy Kamakura. "Now that those lame games are done the world will surely head straight back to watching us play at the dart table, or board, or whatever it is." Leeroy's optimism comes on the heels of data analysts that had estimated darts viewership to have increased by 100% year-over-year from ten viewers to twenty prior to falling back down after the Olympics began in Milan earlier this month. The PGA tour, by contrast, lamented the end of the Olympics stating on Bluesky that "even with the Olympics gone there's just no hope of our viewer numbers rebounding. We're just that boring to watch, I'm afraid."
