Fellow gamers, I implore you took stop, breathe deeply, and take a look around. In the past year thousands of game developers have been fired for releasing successful games. Dozens more have been fired for attempting to unionize. More and more games are being released as broken, unplayable messes. CEO bonuses are through the roof and foreign nations like Saudi Arabia are buying up firms with blood money and oil money. Gacha games continue to rake in billions by taking advantage of gambling addicts and predatory game mechanics. These are the best times ever to be a gamer and we should appreciate them while we can. Surely, for all of these blessings, we should thank Nintendo (and other companies) by giving them more money to buy a game.
