Fukuoka, Rhode Island - Unable to reach an agreement as to what the best best anime of all time is, casualties crossed the 1000 mark as the war between fans of Sousou no Frieren and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure entered its third week. "It's absolutely time we put these Frieren bozos in their place," said one masked Jojo fan as he lit a Molotov cocktail to hurl into the home of a well known Frieren supporter. "Only when Jojo is sitting on top of a long-past-its-prime ranking website can I feel even the slightest ounce of happiness in my life."

Fighting quickly broke out when the newest season of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (titled Steel Ball Run) was released this past month on Netflix. Frieren fans, not yet satisfied with their conquering of FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, lashed out with the last of their dignity by both creating puppet accounts to give Jojo low ratings and bringing out the most uninspired and weak disses imaginable, calling them virgins, lacking (steel) balls, and arbitrarily tossing out the n-word ad nauseam.

Jojo fans initially took the higher road with peaceful protesting of the unfair ratings via picket signs and setting themselves on fire. However, they quickly gave up and found themselves performing drive-bys of Frieren fanatics and creating their own sockpuppets to give Frieren a mere 1/10 score. Things took a turn for the worst when Jojo users began censoring ecchi and hentai images of the Frieren's companion, Fern, who had been a top target for artists to "enhance" in their fan drawings.

Any hope of the war ending soon came to an end when Netflix unexpectedly backed Frieren in the fight by supplying Frieren fans with a dozen F-15 fighter jets and agreeing to create the most horrific release schedule imaginable for Steel Ball Run.
